Currently, I’m running beginner and intermediate dance classes. Spots are limited to 12 people, if you’d like to attend, please book below.

IN THE FEELS [beginner level]
Let go of the stress of everyday life and take a moment for yourself to sweat, move your body and express yourself in a safe and supportive environment.
We start with breath and mindfulness exercises to get you out of your head, and continue with a warm up and guided movement exercises.
Class incorporates hip hop foundations to enhance groove, and a short routine to get a feel of how to flow steps together. All danced to a mostly R&B playlist, carefully curated by Lauren to get you right in the feels.
Current venue: O2 Studios Level 1/200 Bourke St, Melbourne [Studio 3]
What to wear: Comfy clothes are best. Wearing either a baggy top or baggy pants can help your movements to feel more free. Sneakers or runners are good for footwear.
*Please bring along your own water bottle as there is nowhere at the studio to fill up.
HEELS CLASS [intermediate level]
Build self-confidence with dancing in a heel to feel empowered and connected with your essence, while at the same time meeting a community of like-minded movers.
Class will involve a comprehensive warm up so that you're ready to move freely and stabilise in your heels. You’ll learn techniques for walking in a heel and other travelling work to become more comfortable with basic spins and weight changes.
Learn choreography that focuses on musicality, expression and movement quality. With a strong emphasis on dancing from an authentic place, this class is about feeling good first and looking good second.

What to wear: I usually wear tight pants or top so that the movements are clear but please wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Heeled shoes with ankle support are best.

MOVEMENT CLASSES
For those wanting to improve on body awareness and learn how to improvise to music. Suitable for singers, actors and every day people. We will run through a warm up and exercises that will enhance your coordination and ability to move more comfortably and efficiently.
Working with movement concepts we will explore different movement to find what suits your unique personality and physical abilities. Drawing on acting techniques and mindfulness exercises, this class is for anyone who is interested in learning how to articulate and express themselves through movement.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Lauren is available to teach private lessons and small group classes in the styles of Heels Dance, Commercial and Hip Hop.
Class will begin with a warm up and continue with moving stretches, you’ll learn the foundation of your chosen style, build on repertoire and learn a routine.
These classes are open to movers of all genders and ability levels. Small group classes are available for up to 3 people.
